Rueanna Haynes

Rueanna is an international climate law and governance specialist, and TEDx 2020 speaker. A former Trinidad and Tobago diplomat, Rueanna has negotiated for the Caribbean Community as well as the Alliance of Small Island States, in the development of the Paris Agreement and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. At present, she is the Director of the Climate Analytics Caribbean office in Trinidad and Tobago and the Head of Diplomacy for Climate Analytics globally. Rueanna leads dynamic teams that support capacity building and provide strategic, technical and diplomatic advice to island states and least developed countries. Rueanna holds an LLB (hons) from the University of the West Indies and a Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School as well as a Master’s in Environmental Policy from the Paris School of International Affairs, Sciences Po and a Masters in International Legal Affairs (distinction) from Georgetown University Law Centre, Washington DC.
