Honourable Mme Justice Maureen Rajnauth-Lee

Justice Maureen Rajnauth-Lee, a Caribbean Court of Justice Judge since 2015, is a certified Mediator, and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She is a founding member and former Vice-President of the Caribbean and Trinidad and Tobago Associations of Women Judges, and serves as their Patron.

She has chaired (i) the Sexual Offences Advisory Committee which supported the development of Caribbean Sexual Offences Model Guidelines, and the establishment of a Sexual Offences Model Court (Antigua and Barbuda); (ii) the Committee which developed the CCJ/RJLSC Harassment Policy; and (iii) the Committee which developed the CCJ/RJLSC Policy to improve access to justice for persons with disabilities.

She was honoured as an Outstanding Alumna of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill. She co-chaired the Pioneering Caribbean Women Jurists Project. She has presented internationally on violence against women/children, access to justice for vulnerable groups, and the role of alternative dispute mechanisms.
