Honourable Mr Justice Peter Jamadar

Peter Jamadar is a Judge of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ). He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of the West Indies in 1982 and in 1984, he earned his Legal Education Certificate and was admitted to the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago. He was appointed a High Court Judge in Trinidad and Tobago in 1997, elevated to the Court of Appeal in 2008, and joined the CCJ in 2019.

He is a Fellow and Vice President of the Commonwealth Judicial Education Institute, Chairman of the Caribbean Association of Judicial Officers (CAJO), serves on international advisory boards, and is actively engaged in judicial education research and training regionally and globally. He is also a published author, and a certified transpersonal psychologist and mediator. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Toronto in 2023.
