Senator the Honourable Garth Lucien Wilkin serves as Attorney-General and Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs of Saint Kitts and Nevis. Since his appointment in 2022, he has led the passage of more than 80 new laws, advancing major innovative reforms in criminal justice, sustainable development, governance, financial regulation and public safety.
A former Crown Prosecutor and partner at the Federation’s oldest law firm, Kelsick, Wilkin & Ferdinand, he established a strong reputation in commercial litigation.
Attorney-General Wilkin holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and pursued his legal training at the University of the West Indies (Cave Hill) and the Norman Manley Law School.
He represents Saint Kitts and Nevis in leading international legal forums, including serving as Vice Chair of the United Nations Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee on International Tax Cooperation.
