Gabrielle Elliott-Williams

Gabrielle Elliott-Williams, BSc. (UWI), LL.B. (UWI), LL.M. (Cantab) is a lecturer in the Faculty of Law at The University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona Campus. Her research and publications focus on constitutional law, public international law and the Caribbean Court of Justice.

Relevantly, her work explores the CCJ’s role as a decolonising institution, examining how its jurisprudence is helping to shape a distinct Caribbean identity. She has written on topics such as the CCJ’s approach to human rights and its potential to foster regional integration.
