  • Appreciation of the use of international law concepts in pleadings and oral advocacy.

Law of the Caribbean Community:

  • Governance arrangements of the Caribbean Community regarding the structure of Community Institutions and Rules of decision –making;
  • General principles of Community Law;
  • The four fundamental freedoms; and rudiments of dispute settlement.

Original Jurisdiction of the CCJ:

  • Distinction between the Court’s Original jurisdiction and its municipal jurisdiction;
  • Decisions given in the Original jurisdiction; and
  • Preparation of an Originating Application.
