The CCJ Academy for Law is a not-for-profit legal person incorporated under the Laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the seat of the Caribbean Court of Justice.
The President of the Caribbean Court of Justice is the patron of the CCJ Academy for Law. A Judge of the Court serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the CCJ Academy for Law. The general direction and activities of the Academy are approved by its Board of Directors.
The CCJ Academy for Law is supported by subventions from the Caribbean Court of Justice and with guidelines for fund raising approved by its Board of Directors and consistent with its Memorandum of Understanding the with Caribbean Court of Justice.
The mission, vision, focus and values of the CCJ Academy For Law are grounded in its founding documents (including its articles of association) and in the memorandum of understanding with the Caribbean court of justice.
