CANCELLATION POLICY

The CCJ Academy for Law appreciates your commitment to attending the upcoming 8th Biennial Conference. This policy is necessary due to advance commitments made for catering, venue arrangements, and other logistical services based on confirmed attendance. Please review the following policy regarding cancellations, substitutions, and unforeseen circumstances:

1. Non-Refundable Registration

All registration fees are non-refundable.

2. Substitutions

If a registered participant is unable to attend, a substitute may be nominated at no additional cost.

  • Notification must be submitted in writing via email to contact@ccjacademy.org no later than 20 November 2025.
  • Please include the substitute’s full name, email address, and contact number.
  • Substitutions received after this date may not be accommodated.

3. No-Shows

Registrants who do not attend the conference and have not arranged a substitution will forfeit their registration fee. No credits or refunds will be issued.

4. Conference Programme

The Academy is committed to delivering the conference programme as advertised, including but not limited to the participation of all listed speakers. However, unforeseen circumstances may necessitate changes to the programme or speaker line-up. An updated conference programme will be published on the conference website. Where feasible, appropriate alternatives will be arranged. No credits or refunds will be issued.

5. Force Majeure

In the event of cancellation or disruption due to circumstances beyond the Academy’s control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, or governmental restrictions, the Academy will communicate any alternative arrangements, including rescheduling or virtual participation options, where feasible.
